Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use HelmLife, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, larger text or reduced motion. We're working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we've done

• Text is dark enough to read against its background.
• Anything you can tap shows a clear outline when you reach it with a keyboard.
• Animations stop or calm down when your device asks for reduced motion.
• You can make all text bigger from Text size in the account menu.

Known gaps we're fixing

• Some charts don't yet have a text version for screen readers.
• Some dialogs don't yet keep keyboard focus inside them.
• Some updates, like a finished receipt scan, aren't yet announced to screen readers.
